My name is Ted Roberts and I am the Managing Director of Elston and Hopkin a long established Snooker company based in the East Midlands of the UK. We decided to enhance the content available to the visitors to our website in order that they could get to know more about our products and the history of the business. Any contributions from readers of this blog will be much appreciated. We want to produce a detailed archive of information for Cuesport enthusiasts everywhere.

My name is Sue Roberts and I am the Financial Director of Elston and Hopkin. In short this means that I keep our M.D. in check ! I look after all the financial transactions that take place and ensure that Ted , Geoff and the rest of the team complete all paperwork correctly. Its a full-time job keeping them in line. I thought I should introduce you to our Senior Billiards Fitter Geoff Large. Geoff has over 30 years experience as a Billiards fitter and is in his 26th year of work for Elston and Hopkin. He has seen a huge amount of change during that time , but one constant throughout has been the excellent standard of his work.

A crucial member of our team who is as passionate about the history of the Billiards industry as he is about the quality of the work he produces. Geoff is a committed collector of anything linked to the Billiards and Snooker industry. If you have any historical brochures from any of the Billiards Table manufacturers that you wish to part with , please make contact as Geoff will no doubt want to increase his collection ! 

 We also have two very keen apprentices Toby and Jamie Roberts. Toby has accompanied us on a number of jobs whilst in the School holidays and Jamie is regularly in the Showroom honing his skills on our Pool Tables. Toby is clearly destined for management as he has already enquired as to when he gets an office !
