The Game

Nine Ball :-

• A simple game where you have to sink nine balls in order.
• The balls are racked in a diamond shape
• The no 1 ball at the top of the diamond and the no 9 in the middle , all others can be racked anywhere
• Object of the game is to pot the 9 ball by hitting the lower number balls first
• The No1 ball must be hit off the break
• Players may play a "Push Out" to better their position
• You foul by a number of means including
• Not hitting the lowest numbered ball
• Failure to hit the number 1 ball on the break
• If any ball jumps off the table
• Missing any ball you aim for
• Potting the cueball
• Failure to drive the cueball or any numbered ball to the cushion
• Three consecutive fouls mean you lose the game

Table Cloths The cloth is ‘speedcloth'. It has a high nylon content and no ‘direction' to the fibres. The balls run fast in every direction.
